Lovely weather in West Cornwall

Don't you just love it when a front grinds to a halt and wraps around a low just far enough east so you get a lovely sunny day, with frontal cloud visible all day near the eastern horizon!

It's been a glorious day in Penzance, almost calm excellent visibility, deep blue sky, and 3C warmer than yesterday. Yesterday 10.7C max, today 13.7C. Warm in the sun.

Maximum of 16.4C today, the 2nd warmest day of April after 17.3C on 1st.

Sunshine made weak by thin frontal cloud this morning, but quite strong prolonged sunshine this afternoon with visibility...

Yesterday saw a drop in temperature. A maximum of 11.8C, under patchy cloud spreading out from inland This compares with 13.9C max on 14th, and follows 2 days of virtually unbroken sunshine....

Penzance - Largely sunny & temp in double figures (just)

A mainly sunny day, reached 10.3C here in Penzance, I was a bit surprised to see even Culdrose managed 10C. Chilly breeze, but in the strong sunshine it felt quite OK.
