The drought was broken on 27th with 3.8mm, then:-
Last 7 days rain in Penzance 28/4 0.6mm 29/4 1.2mm 30/4 0.0mm 01/5 0.0mm 02/5 0.0mm 03/5 2.0mm (All the rain passed to the north, even less at Culdrose) 04/5 0.0mm I don't think it'll help the early potatoes! It was very windy afternoon/evening of 13th & early hours of 14th. Peak gust in Penzance 41mph, though it reached F8 on the cliff tops, with peak gusts near 60mph at Lands End. Graham Penzance |
