Blizzards in the north tomorrow?!

Only thing I can think is, I guess no one has any faith in the
forecasts\charts, plus will be such a short lived event as to be worth it...
melting, slushy snow... yukk ;(

Contrary to the past (pre late 80s), February seems a nailed on Mild month
nowadays.

The GFS has really showed it's metal in the last few months. Best one out
there at the moment.

Generally speaking the forecasts have been very poor, but most people in
this newsgroup have a decent understanding, and the slagging off has been
from a minority, and not regulars of this...

The BBC and METO forecasts are a joke unfortunately. Why the BBC and METO
bother publishing these is beyond me, because it is unfair to Joe Public and
people like yourself who do not know...

Obviously living in Lincolnshire puts a different perspective on things.
Maybe I should have said Norterlies don't cut if for most of England, say
90%.... only on an extremely local...
