Only thing I can think is, I guess no one has any faith in the
forecasts\charts, plus will be such a short lived event as to be worth it...
melting, slushy snow... yukk ;(
And surely, this is nothing compared to what Scotland should be getting?
Sign of the times I guess. I cannot believe the lack of snow in Scotland in
recent years... worrying to say the least.

The deepest snowfall of the winter here has only been 2cm, I'm hoping
tomorrow will re-dress the balance. With a WNW flow it's a bit of a hit or
miss affair for the Central lowlands. I recall a similar event back on
28th
December 2001 - which turned out to be a miss here. This system looks less
promising - but nature has thrown a few extremes at us recently.

What's the wind-chill with an air temp of -2°C and a 40KT mean wind?
