Quite, speaking as someone who did over 30 years in the chemical
industry.

Thatcher was referred to as "The Duchess" by her chemistry
colleagues and clearly "pratting about in a lab" as we used to call it
was not how she saw herself so she married millionaire Bill and went
into politics.
