I've searched and came up empty so I thought I'd try here.
Can someone tell me which city was declared "most polluted city in america" by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1969? If possible, could you please provide a source? thank you. |

None, since the EPA didn't come into existence until 2 Dec 1970 (http://www.epa.gov/history/) Harold I find websites listing an EPA declaration that Chattanooga was "the worst polluted city in America" in the year 1969. How is this possible? thanks |
