I always found that the run upto summer was one step forward two steps back,
especially here in Southend-on-Sea when the weather warms up and then in comes a sea breeze with mist and it feels like winter in a small space of time :-( Late June/July/August/Early September, that's about the size of it generally. http://www.southendweather.net "Tom Bennett" wrote in message ... Par for the course indeed! -- Graham Davis Bracknell |

And even during the famous spring/summer of 1990, June was poor. I recall it being rather wet and although it was anticyclonic for a time as well I seem to remember it being a cloudy high for days on end, somewhat strange that the sun at the very height of it's powers couldn't shift the cloud. June '75 had snow in Buxton, so bad weather is nothing new
(Yes I know what happened over the next 18 months, and I'm NOT going to say it!!) PKH "Jon O'Rourke" wrote in message ... It's good news for those who suffer from hayfever, myself included ! £6.25 or so a month for all my tablets, nasal spray and eye drops. How many of the population nowadays suffer from it, does anybody know ? Joe |
