Theres a band of severe gale to storm force winds forecast to pass just (& only just) to the south of west Cornwall around 06:00 tomorrow.
I've been watching this development for a few days. The latest GFS run brings the severe conditions particularly close. Look at http://www.xcweather.co.uk/GB/forecast go to wind At 49-30N 06-00W the mean wind speed is forecast to be 62-75mph @ 06:00. That's a lot closer than Plymouth is to Penzance. A close shave I'd say. Watch out Brittany. Today http://www.sennen-cove.com/index.htm Graham Penzance |
