Blimey that area around Calais and just down the coast say 40 miles
has been getting a battering all day long (from 7 this morning) - rain swirling around in a somewhat local fashion. Anyone in or around, small hope I know. brian aberfeldy |

Anyone in or around, small hope I know. brian aberfeldy I was passing through there on August 16th when there was similar weather - driving rain and strong winds made for a very unpleasant sea crossing to Dover. What I found amazing was that the weather cleared completely on reaching the Dartford, Kent, area - allowing me to enjoy a day of unbroken sunshine in the garden on returning to east London. Sadly, though it turned very bright this afternoon, we didn't see the same clearance. |
