Unbroken sunshine until around 4pm has pushed the June monthly sunshine
total to 305 hours. The 18 day period from the 11th to the 28th has been remarkably sunny with an average daily sunshine amount of 13 hours, and total sunshine for that period of 234 hours. With all that sunshine it has also been very warm with the mean maximum temperature for the 11th - 28th period of 24.4°C. The overall monthly mean maximum now stands at 23.4°C. Another warm day with a max of 26.9°C after a cool(ish) minimum of 10.3°C. Only 4.5 mm of rain has fallen in the last 20 days. A warm, predominantly cloudy evening with a westerly breeze.
