Despite the gloomy forecast making me think that today would be even colder
than yesterday (max 19.1C), the temperature has now gone above 20.0C (and still rising) even though it is mostly cloudy (yesterday there were a few breaks in the cloud). Currently at 12:00pm, 20.1C, RH 67%, DP 13.6C, 1010.4 mb (R), Wind 2.0 mph E, Rainfall last 24 hrs 0.0 mm. ________________ Nick G Exe Valley, Devon 50 m amsl |

Dew points at East Midlands and Leeds have been as low as 3 degC, now hovering around 5 degC, compared to your 14 degC. This is the reason for your warmer day and these are due to increase over the next 24-48hrs. http://meteocentre.com/models/ukmet_..._012_0850.html (MetO 00z DT T+12 850hPa WBPT) Joe |
