Yesterday's maximum was 29.1C (the same as the day before) - not as hot
as elsewhere probably because of the cooling easterly breeze. The temperature at 0930Z is already 29.3C and still rising smartly (up 3.3C in the last hour). The highest temperature I've recorded this year is 31.0C on the 2nd July - last year I recorded 31.9C on four separate occasions (27 May, 19 June, 24 June and 31 August). 29.3C is the 9th highest maximum in the last two years. -- Jonathan Stott Canterbury Weather: http://www.canterburyweather.co.uk/ Reverse my e-mail address to reply by e-mail |
