Default Newbie Question

Can anyone help.
This is a brand new intrest for me and want to get involved.
I am thinking of setting up a live weather station, similar to
http://www.devilsdyke.net/live_weather.htm
Is there a list of other station in the UK I could look at or a site that
gives details on setting up such a weather station.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Many thanks, Del.

Welcome to uk.sci. weather Del
The best of luck and we look forward to your reports, comments and
discussions :-) This is an excllent ng, I have been on here for a couple of
years now. I ran an amateur weather station in the late 1970s. I do not have
the facilities for one now but I have never lost my interest in meteorology
and the weather in general. My contribution on this ng is largely
observational and conversational weather related.
If you want to ask anything that there is to do with weather and
meterology there are some excllent chaps and chapesses on here who are only
too happy to help :-)

Regards Gavin.
