[OBS] Ystrad, Rhondda - Sun 04 Nov 2018
0900z: 13003KT 20km 4ST012 8SC020 11.4/10.6 QFF 1007.9 falling.
SYNOP: 42470 81303 10114 20106 40079 50003 885// 333 84712 88620= Cloud layers continued to thicken and lower Saturday morning, with slight rain and drizzle starting around 1200z. Intermittent at times early afternoon, but becoming persistent after 1500z. Rate picked up to moderate to heavy around 1700z and remained that way until 0300z - peak rate was 12 mm/hr just after 1800z, but most of the time it was a steady 3-5 mm/hr - then beoming slight until petering out just before 0600z. Light southerly breeze throughout, that has backed southeasterly in the past three hours.
