[OBS] Ystrad, Rhondda - Sun 18 Mar 2018
0900z: 06020KT 300m Moderate snow 2ST002 8ST005 -2.4/-3.4 QFF 1008.2 rising..
SYNOP: 41103 80620 11024 21034 40082 53019 77377 887// 333 48010 82702 88705= Light snow flurries on and off until mid afternoon Saturday, then some heavier showers of snow and snow pellets late afternoon and early evening. Intermittent slight snow until about 0300z then pretty much continuous moderate snow since. This, along with the F5 NEly wind, has led to some drifts to 30 cm. Conversely there are some much shallower areas. My estimate for a level depth is 10 cm. Some sunshine between the showers and flurries on Saturday. Feeling very cold this morning. 17/0900z to 18/0900z: Max: 1.7 (1336z) Min: -3.1 (0645z) Rain: 7.0 mm -- Freddie Ystrad Rhondda 148m AMSL |
