Default Penzance. Much breezier & cooler

A minimum of 7.7C last night. The big change this morning being the NE F3-4 breeze, accentuating the fact it's cooler. No rain on last nights front.

Some Sc running SW along the north coast, but currently largely dissipating before it reaches Penzance.

The lovely surf of the last few days has died away to be replaced by a messy locally generated wind wave.

Interesting sunrise photo from yesterday. Taken from the Jubilee Pool, Penzance, showing the geothermal drilling rig & the Mount.

A maximum of 15.8C here Graham, that's just over 4C down on yesterday's
maximum and in the breeze it felt a lot more.

Still, with the shelter of the south-facing cliffs down on the beach, it
was warm in the unbroken and feeling quite strong sunshine. A glorious day.

Monthly sunshine now at 102 hours. Still short of my estimated average
of 130 hours for October, though the way things have been going recently
this month cold end up near that (or even above).

Noticed that the front lawn has failed to recover from the summer
scorching. I'm going to have reseed all the dead areas.

Going off chilly tonight.
