Not so much influence from Easterlies this far South, the beast from the East departed on 28 Feb and the second one never really arrived.

Overall about 1.3c below average, but mean min was average at 0c with a lack of cold nights and mean max at 7.8c was cold, with a lack of warm days. Not that I have a sunshine recorder, but if I did it would have shown a continued lack of sun.

Another wet month, 225.4mm. In 2 years here, the 3 wettest months have occurred in the past 4 months. Since 1 December the running total is now 1143mm and 816mm this year, so just wondering how soon we'll reach 1000mm for the year.

14 days of snow falling, but with no genuine cold air the 5 days with cover were all marginal. A few miles to the East the hills range from 800 to 970m and snowfall was more significant, whilst the Auvergne mountains an hour away were very snowy.
