Slight snow died away yesterday evening, it's been dry since. Few bright
spells coming through now I'm pleased to say but that wind is bitter. Main roads all clear and have been really all week, even the side roads seem OK. I don't see much snow coming our way today or the weekend so roads should stay fine. The beast from the east has caused no problems at all while the constant stream of snow showers coming through the Cheshire gap before Christmas caused chaos!! Looking like a slightly milder weekend so let's hope it 's a sign of things to come and it will start to get warmer so I can get out into the garden, fingers crossed. 6 cms lying this morning with some bigger drifts. Current temp -2.3c Graham |
