Had a few snow flurries here over the last 3 days, but nothing to get
worried about. Until 3pm today when the Beast reared it's ugly head for about 5 minutes - almost white-out conditions, with the houses across the road disappearing into the murk. The total accumulation in those 3 days is less than 5mm ( 1/4 inch). At least, that is the position around here. Other parts of town suffered a bit more during that mini-blizzard, with a couple of centimetres on the ground 3 miles to the south-west. Driving conditions on the M1 became a bit iffy at the time, but there were no reports of any major incidents in the county. Temperature currently -5.7C. It was -6.3C at tea time. jim, Northampton |
