We've lost the sunshine of recent days, a dark easterly this afternoon, with only moderate visibility. It's amazing just how dull it gets under thin cloud in an easterly. The temperature's now (16:45) just below 5C and there's a F5 E wind. It really does feel cold. Up at Cudrose it's 4C, cloudy with a mean wind speed of 30mph.
Still, it might all get quite exciting in a few days, at least away from the immediate onshore coastal fringe. Graham Penzance |
