[OBS] Hyssington, Powys - Sun 21 Jan 2018
0900z: 14003KT 1500m Moderate rain 8ST000 -0.2/-0.4 QFF 1011.1 falling.
SYNOP: 41015 81403 11002 21004 40111 58018 76376 887// 333 44006 88700= Moderate snow on Saturday became light by 1400z, and petered out around 1800z. Dry until the early hours of Sunday when more snow fell, giving a fresh covering of 4 cm, and a total depth of 6 cm. Snow turned to rain around 0730z, but the temperature is still just sub-zero. No evidence of ice accretion, either on the ground or on elevated surfaces such as trees. Therefore I'm not recording this as freezing rain.
