If that turns out to be accurate it's going to be pretty spectacular on a Scilly cliff top, 40 miles nearer the depression, with a swell of around 25' forecast.

Peak swell forecast for Sennen Monday afternoon has risen another foot to 23'

David Braine (happy Will?) said the surf would increase through the week end ahead of the storm. Well, not according to the swell forecasts.

I make that a steady decrease to something small for September.

The big swell doesn't arrive until 3pm Monday WITH (not ahead of) the storm. As Norman said in another thread, the feature looks like moving at the same speed as the swell, constantly building it.
