It's probably packed up. If it has, I'm afraid that spares are no longer available, as I discovered when mine suffered a similar fate. It's on it's way out, but overnight it dropped to 95% but now back to 100% and looking the radar will stay 100% until the morning... -- Keith (Southend) "Weather Home & Abroad" http://www.southendweather.net Twitter:@SS9Weatherman |

Well the rains arrived now at Southend-on-Sea and the hunidity is now 96%. Perhaps the 7 days of fog in December has everstretched it. -- Keith (Southend) "Weather Home & Abroad" http://www.southendweather.net Twitter:@SS9Weatherman |

Perhaps the 7 days of fog in December has everstretched it. Keith, I had a WM2 humidity sensor which did the same under the same circumstances (and same time of year for that matter). The reading was 100% just occasionally coming down to 95% for a short time before back to 100%. John Dann told me to send it to McMurdo (Davis agents) who said they would repair it for free 'if they still had a spare part in the shed'. Part found, repaired and back to me next day. However that was 8-10 years ago. You might just find a WM2 unit being sold on ebay but nothing at present. -- George in Swanston, Edinburgh, 580'asl www.swanstonweather.co.uk |
