I am not a vegetarian, lunkhead. I am politically unaligned but have zero respect for your kind of politics. And I haven't forgotten the typical example of your offensiveness when your response to a polite email explaining a climate point was unfettered abuse. Get off the stage and let others with saner attitudes get more attention. I responded to your "You are deeply unpalatable - not just as an embittered curmudgeon, but as a cynical redistributor of lies manufactured by self-interested pressure groups who don't give a damn about the fate of the environment. WeatherL, on the other hand, is simply a raving lunatic with a compulsion to spout endless twaddle." And I'm offensive? The fact you are one of the very few that have failed to condemn you mate Garish , speaks volumes. If I have ever been rude to you I believe you will find it was in response to your initial swipe. Again I say how dare you as if you are some sort of paragon of pious pulp-fiction. First thing is you can say what you want about what you do for the environment but wheres the proof and I would say like wise for me as I'm not hypocritical like many nowadays mand whilst on that topic I don't or have never seen evidence from real source s that those that spout the loudest about AGW are those that do the least. Your mate Garish put on the web his address and also someone posted a link of his house on the market. Not one scrap of evidence of renewable energy. Anthony Watts recently showed the homes of leading exponents of AGW and none had any obvious solar panels or turbines whereas their neighbours had panels festooned on their roofs. But the trademark or litmus test for someone with a left outlook is the ability to repeatedly chant 'do as I say and not as I do'. The fact you have never once criticised these very spokesman for AGW who have become very rich or made a damn good living out of telling the world the end is nigh yet have done nothing on a personal level to mitigate tells me immediately that you are left-wing. I also know because I once was the same. |

Cameron only had his bit of glory because of the Lib Dems first time round, and the SNP second time round. We have a stupid electoral system. O and by the way, to keep on topic, now we are going to leave EU, we have £650 million per week (according to the Leave brigade), some of which will be handy to give to UKMO to improve their forecasts. The charlatans that led the Leave brigade and hoodwinked Jo Public are now nowhere to be seen to lead the country out of the mess. I wonder why? Len Wembury -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spot on as ever Len. I'm afraid there are other nasty things creeping into some arguments along the lines that education is bad as it leads to the elitist liberal middle classes. I've generally found they are the ones doing the most to try and raise standards for the poorer in society than your average business led UKIP and Tory person. Wasn't it a similar anti-professional/expert/educated attitude that led to the burning of books, killing musicians, artists etc by the Khmer Rouge and Maoist China? --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus No education is good if the elitist middle class left stop putting their spin on it. I took my son out for his birthday meal last night and there with his partner and my daughter partner Brexit came up . all of them voted remain as they are white middle class Londoners, but my daughter as a history teacher was very undecided as the EEC and the way its developed was very wrong indeed with decisions being made for the UK and all sovereignty taken away. Britain was a very wealthy member of the EEC and we were needed far more than we needed . them I'll keep this short and mention Farage. When Farage vowed to try and end the accepted corrupted un representational nature of the EEC immigration wasn't even on the cards then. Its only become an issue in recent times and then exacerbated by dysfunctional Arab countries with populations devised of two factions of Islam who want to kill each other. So for people to say Farage started all of this because he's a racist (over used word bomb to end all conversation)they are lying as immigration was not such a hot potato when he joined UKIP which initially had been set up by Kilroy-Silk. Let me ask you though Dave and anyone. The net migration for 2015 was almost half a million people. They don't all work and all will be immediately in receipt of health, housing and education whether they contribute or not. As for probably the best of the bunch of immigrants the Poles . Many of those never paid tax as they worked in the construction industry, granted some worked in care as agency of direct labour where they would then be PAYE but even being in the UK two years and having used the GP or NHS plus housing help and education. Any taxes paid plus NI would nowhere near meet the costs of a health issue on the NHS or education which is I believe around 6 grand a year to educate per child. None of it adds up. My daughter tells me that the photo copying budget at her very prestigious state run but highly sought after school is £18 per month where she has to pay out of her own pocket on many an occasion. So let me ask you as you obviously want to put your OT side in a newsgroup you left because it was too OT. How many people can we take in the UK and really we all know we men England . half a million per year, so by 2020 it would have been another two million. Do you think that is sustainable without you state pension being greatly reduced to pay for it or higher VAT which by the way the EEC introduced. I await your answer. Another racist rant. |
