I can read it without a Google account.

Because I can't monitor this group 24/7 and be around every minute of the day to moderate your posts, I have decided (arbitrarily because there is no committee just yet) to trust the majority of people that previously posted to UKSW. If you're not one of them, I apologise now. It's not any reflection on who you are, or necessarily what you've posted, it's because I don't know you, or perhaps that I do know you and I can't trust you to stay on topic. If you can't live with that, just content yourself with reading the posts, or if that's not to your liking then I suggest that you mosey on back to UKSW and take it out on them. Straying off topic and killfiles will hopefully be a thing of the past, this forum is for people only interested to read about things pertaining to weather, climate and meteorology. What this forum needs if it is to survive and thrive are your posts, so keep them coming!

He is hardly management material, no offence intended but most people just aren't. You can't hope to float any enterprise without knowing exactly what you are doing and trusting people much more than he shows. Basing a forum on people who just want other people killed is somewhat American, is it not?

If he had more sense he would have got a good forum package from Sourceforge or WordPress. And learned how to use it before sending it out to fend for itself. He is relying on Google (if he knows that much) because the bandwidth from them is plentiful. The problem there is that the facilities are cut to the bone -compare Blogger for example.
