Dear All
You are cordially invited to join a web forum that I've just put together called Weather and Climate. It's a Google forum so if it's against your religion then it's business as usual for you, but if possible why not cross post for a while to see how it goes. Anyone can join but anything you submit will be subject to the rules and they are simply this forum is for topics pertinent to weather and climate from UK and around the World. Don't feel you just that you have to write a dissertation about any topic that you want aired, maybe just send a photo of a CB or some shallow fog, or maybe a cloudscape or sunset. I have absolutely no experience of running a web forum at all, but I can distinguish a story that has little if anything to do with the weather and boot it out. I don't know if this forum will (a) attract enough members to be viable or (b) take too much of my time to run, but I'll see how it goes, all I'd say is please bear with me. Surprisingly I already have 7 people who are willing to give it a try! Bruce. |

The original reason that I returned to this newsgroup was to invite any of the active members to try the new weather and climate forum that I created this week almost by accident, on Google Groups. Unfortunately this post, like many other threads on this newsgroup it was hijacked, and its original intention was lost.
This is just a reminder to anyone reading this, there is a simple alternative which is free from posts that have little to do with weather, and where you (can't and) won't need a kill file. We now have 22 subscribers which has surprised me, I hope you will join us and together we can make it work. |

Well I'll be Danton to your Robespierre I'll come a cropper and you don't hang about in the bath unnecessarily. Reminds me of the outspoken Petrograd barbers association during the 1917 Russian revolution. revolution. They increasingly became a fringe group, got cut off and they to became a cropper after a very close shave. People don't know this as Stalin had it hair brushed out of history, but the original revolution slogan was Beard, Peace and Land. |

Dear All Just to clarify something. By all do you mean the people whose posts you have never seen or do you mean an elite that only thinks the way you do. And is believing absolute nonsense a condition? Bruce. Just how many posts on here are you completely ignorant of? |

Weatherlawyer If you want to join thats fine, and as long as what you post is on topic (about the weather and climate) I'll let them through. I know that you post frequently on this newsgroup, but personally I have never understood your methods or anything that you're trying to say and I think thats the view of most people. If you don't like the terms keep posting to UKSW. Bruce. |
