falling. SYNOP: 41250 71408 10163 20152 40070 57008 70522 84572 333 81705 84650 87360= Cloudy with occasional rain during the evening and most of the night. Mainly light or moderate, but there was a notable heavy burst 2300z to 2315z during which rates reached 18 mm/hr. The rain petered out by 0400z to leave a misty and murky morning with extensive low cloud. The low cloud started to break up after 0730z, and there are only small amounts now. Plenty of medium and high cloud layers, but the sun is managing to peek through and give the odd brief sunny interval. 02/0900z - 03/0900z: Max: 17.2 (1446z) Min: 13.7 (0900z) [Night min 15.2 (0618z)] Rain: 8.8 mm -- Freddie Castle Pulverbatch Shropshire 221m AMSL http://www.hosiene.co.uk/weather/ http://twitter.com/PulverbatchWx for hourly reports |

1700z: 19006KT 20km 7ST008 (/CI250) 17.0/16.0 QFF 1000.9 rising.
