visibility and cloud base have deteriorated sharply. Feeling cold.

A grotty cold and damp morning. Moderate rain and drizzle from the last
observation until just after 1000z, mainly light since. A lot of low cloud
around, lowering close to the surface at times, with visibility only just
above fog limits - a far cry from the bright and sunny day yesterday.
Precipitation has become intermittent now, and the cloud base and visibility
have improved markedly in the past half an hour.
