Despite all the cloud / drizzle / murk / rain of the last 2 days, it has been remarkably warm.
Bude, according to the MetO, was the warmest place in the SW yesterday at 19.9C. It was also the sunniest with a massive 0.9 hours of sunshine. The last few nights the temperature has struggled to get below 16C, as in St. Ives http://www.nci-stives.org/weather/Cu...antage_Pro.htm . All this has had an impact over the SSTs in the SW approaches, which have been rising again over the last 7-10 days. At least today was dry from dawn until 16:00, though it would good to see the sun again for longer than 5 minutes at a time. Rather looking forward to the weekend. Biggish swell on the south coast now http://www.nci-stives.org/weather/Cu...antage_Pro.htm Graham Penzance |
