We appear to have strange phenomena forming outside.
I believe these are known as 'puddles'. At last, heavy rain
has come to town and we've already collected almost two
thirds of last month's rainfall in the past hour.

Moderate rain commenced at 1352Z but heavy from 1355Z
to 1402Z and 1428Z to 1445Z. In the remaining 5 minutes
leading to the observation, it's been torrential.
