With a wind chill equivalent of -12C, this must rank as one of the
coldest feeling March days. I've not had time to plough through my records, but today's peak air temp of +0.4C surely vies for the lowest March max temp here. The dusting of snow which had covered more than half of the ground this morning (according to family - I wasn't here at the time) had vanished by 1800Z and the current very slight snow flurries are not yet making an impact, merely rushing by in the wind. Dry air and a fresh to strong NE'ly wind are being maintained this evening.
