An big improvement over yesterday. Much lighter winds this morning
with good sunny spells. We appear to have been in a slack presuure gradient just to the north of a feature running east just off the south coast. The cloud & rain visible well out to sea. Most (but not all) of the cumulus development is along the spine of the peninsula, aligned with the wind, with most of the sunshine on the coast. Temperature @ 13:00 18.2C, so rather below normal, but feeling pleasant in the much lighter winds. Wind looks set to increase this afternoon. A big & rather dangerous swell today, unusually large for July. Well worth a look http://www.sennen-cove.com/todaysurf.htm Graham Penzance Graham Penzance |
