It's all but died a death, nothing but rain down south by the looks of
things. It's beginning to dawn on me that this isn't really turning out much of a winter after all, just one heavy overnight snowfall that lasted about 5 days on the ground and that's it! Roll on summer :-) -- Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net e-mail: kreh at southendweather dot net |

Just cool wet oceans of rain for us Keith. Its all so depressing at the time of year and I was relying on the cold spell to curbe my drinking. |

Keith.
Even Will has gone to ground, must be out trying to sell his logs. I take your point about next weeks cold failing us. Is's going to turn out the usual SAD sufferers nightmare. Regards. Len. Most recent winters we'd have been really happy with that. And we're only about a third of the way through winter. If it's any consolation, the 00Z ECMWF operational run looks quite encouraging, certainly much better than recent GFS operational runs. Roll on summer :-) So that we can complain about the rain. ![]() -- John Hall "[It was] so steep that at intervals the street broke into steps, like a person breaking into giggles or hiccups, and then resumed its sober climb, until it had another fit of steps." It's only up to +180 hours as I type, but the GFS 12Z operational run is looking much more promising. -- John Hall "[It was] so steep that at intervals the street broke into steps, like a person breaking into giggles or hiccups, and then resumed its sober climb, until it had another fit of steps."
