I was expecting a better day weatherwise today with forecast of the
odd shower possible early on but then mostly dry the rest of the day. When I left for work it was clear and looked like a good day to come. Then the cloud to the west started to look threatening and by mid morning it was very dark and moderate to heavy rain started. This lasted till around 13:30 followed by showers through the afternoon an everning. The question is what happend did the system that was due to move across the south west mover further north or did a small area of low pressure develop and move east? Made me think of the sort of system the gives supprise snow during winter months far to mild today of course. PS. River Rother seems to be rising quickly Simon (South Yorkshire) |
