Warm & breezy start in Penzance, with some altostratus/altocumulus.
13.8C at 08:45 after an overnight min of 10.4C. I know I've mentioned this before, but once again the MetO has predictions for the wind Penzance to be the same as the Lizard. Forecast for both Penzance & Lizard Mean Speeds of 30mph for around now, 40mph by 13:00. Currently the mean wind speed's well under 20mph, even at the exposedHeliport on the sea front. www.xcweather.co.uk/ shows Penzance is actually one of the less windy spots south of the M4 corridor, due to it's shelter from the ENE (as opposed to the SE - when it can really catches it www.turnstone-cottage.co.uk/PzStorm.PDF ).
