Hi, Ron,

Met O 6-15 day outlook

"Beyond the weekend (next) it looks as if the weather is set to turn
increasingly unsettled and colder, especially across northern and
eastern areas" - updated 1150Z today.

Usually does in these parts around 19th March.

I've noticed how frequent a cold spell around the equinox is, allowing
the press to bring out their "snow on the official first day of spring"
stories.

I ironed my shorts and am still waiting for a possible 20degC to get
them out; I would brave it if we even reached 15degC! Admittedly today
was lovely with a gentle breeze, sunshine and a maximum of 13degC - it
felt a lot colder when I had an afternoon beverage at a pub alongside
the Thames.
