Okay we had quite a dollop in the SE, but temps seem higher then forcast and the persistant snow [redicted for tonight looks strangely absent on the radar and rainfall pattern UKMO. They've been predicting this all day and usual the forecast even at such short notice is pretty poor. The main event I thought was scheduled for this evening with last night persistent heavy showers just being that. The BBC and all other weather warnings spoke of another 15cm to add on to last nights accumulation -looks like fine sleet to me at present. Did you ever get your evenin snow Lawrence? |

Looking at the date on Lawrence's post, it was made on February 2, 2009m so he probably won't remember now whether he did or not. -- John Hall "Honest criticism is hard to take, particularly from a relative, a friend, an acquaintance, or a stranger." Oh come on, you've just had the heaviest snowfall in nearly 20 years and you're *still* complaining! You fancy coming up here? Last night you could have come to play with my 5cms, though today it's shrivelled to half that size.... You can see from your windows that it is not over yet, everywhere is still glum and drizzly. Going to be that way until the 21st to the 24th I think (I'm far from sure.) One look at today's Atlantic and you can see that once the lows get straightened out things can start recovering. Some pretty pictures and some religion: http://weatherlawyer.altervista.org/...24926757812500 (Don't blame me. I am trained to look at all possibilities and if a synod is taking place, I'm going to have as much bloody fun with it as I can. :~)) And I can! Get ready to meet the maker of it all. |
