I see the Beeb are still using graphics about as realistic as the
water-splash scene from the Dambusters film [1]. Just what is that blue
amorphous lump that they animate over the North Sea to represent the
forecasted cold air mass? Is this really the best that can be done with
all that expensive computer equipment?

OK, rant over.

[1] For those too young to remember, the effect was created by filming a
river rapid, rotating it 90 degrees, and masking it into the outline of
an ejection of water behind a dam.

I'll have to see if I can watch a TV forecast today, what you describe
sounds intriguing. I don't normally bother as the InterNet and my brain
provides all the information I need.

Corbett described it as "the colder air will be squeezing in from the
east rather like a layer of blue treacle" on the just-before-6am
forecast on BBC1 yesterday. I nearly spilled my Cheerios.

Who the hell is this Tim anyway?

I don't know, you spend years banging on about crap BBC programming
and finally give up when it becomes obvious it is a servant of the ZOG
world governments and banks.

Then everyone wakes bloody well up.

WTF?

How about dire BBC weather presenters ?

Darren Bett would have caused a few more 'wrist-slashes' last evening
The snow event was mentioned as potential disruption maker for a short
while, before it all turns to rain/sleet

They bring out the 'mild ramping' presenters at a time like this. You
couldn't make it up

They probably couldn't be arsed to re-arrange the schedules.

It'll probably be Peter Gibbs doing the Countryfile on Sunday

"The Day Today" anyone? It'll be "a few gits of rain" next!

I wonder if they are slowly replacing the real people with lizards?
Maybe that's why they need all that smack? Maybe they need it like we
need sugar.

It would explain why some of the freaks have so little idea of the
sociology of humans that they molest octogenarians.

Don't forget to use the tip I posted about watching Countryfile to
blot out the subliminal humanitoids if you must watch those early
clips about the proclivities in the rural environments of earthlings.

It must be awful to have to work with such tat. I wonder what
presenters there generally must feel. Imagine being really keen on
your job and watching cutting edge stuff on the internet from real TV
weather services like AccuWeather.

Where can you go? If you want to keep the wife fed and the children
shod you just have to stick it out.

Unfortunately that sort of ongoing stress is what is bringing the
planet to its knees. Never mind glowballs. If people could just be
free to tell their bosses where to get off things wouldn't suddenly go
out of existence.

Imagine no sea ever having been over-fished, no ecologies ever
suffering disaster all because adventurers were forced to listen to
reason. What planet could that ever happen on?

You mean the "AccuWeather" that was forecasting minus 14 for Cambridge
last week, and I don't mean the "RealFeel" figure?
