I thought someone more knowledgeable than I would be along with the
advice but since I am an intemperate and impatient man I think the
world can't wait for that.

I was of the opinion that the situation is caused by a Low so situated
over Iberia as to bring up heat and cause thunder in the Home Counties
and other places to be found on the BBC map of Ynglande and ye ythyre
pafyfe.

Er - no. The flow on that chart would appear to originate from E
Europe. I think you will find Spain is to the South!
