Default omega block?

Looking at the latest GFS am I right in thinking that there is an omega
block developing?

Nothing of terrible interest at first - but I would have thought that
with the lack of solar radiation at this time of year it won't take
long for the air mass over us to cool down rapidly.

Thoughts anyone?
