Does anyone have any knowledge of the ability of those very large earth
moving dump trucks (used in mining) to drive in deep water? What are the closest mines with those equipment near to New Orleans? Or, if they are narrow enough to fit down the streets? Seems like a bunch of those could move a lot of people out of the 10-15' deep water if they could drive the flooded roads. Maybe not the really deep parts. Then again, if they don't have a lot of rescue boats, I guess the monster trucks are out of the question too....seems a little weak... -D |
