I found that the wind speed indicator had frozen, and wasn't registering

Does anyone know how to stop this or is it something I'll have to live

Not a lot you can do. Mine generally only freezes up with heavy wet
snow or freezing rain with little wind. I've squirted the outside
with WD40, a water displacer, with some success in the past. The
current one doesn't seem to freeze presumably because we haven't had
the required conditions, it's the same as the previous one.

Thanks for that, Dave.

I'll just have to keep an eye out for it during the current conditions!
