I have recorded 10.9mm here in Canterbury today, which seems to be at
odds with the radar images for the past 6 hours or so. While it's not been heavy (apart from a while at about 1pm), it's been persistent enough to record a decent total. Today's rainfall has more than doubled the amount of rain this month to 19.1mm. However, the radar images seem to show only slight or just about moderate rainfall for this part of Kent. Indeed, Kent seems conspicuous by a curious Kent-shaped "hole" in the radar echoes. The 16:30 image is a point in case, with heavy rain to the north and south of Kent! -- Jonathan Stott Canterbury Weather: http://www.canterburyweather.co.uk/ Reverse my e-mail address to reply by e-mail |

Maidstone) should improve the situation considerably, and it may not be too long now.
