Could anyone suggest a website that would contain the temperatures for
the Loire Valley region (Angers, Saumur, Tours) for the last 4 weeks.
I am keen to see the temperatues that were reached.

I live in France and the Metéo France website should be able to help
you.

There are some parts in English.

I can tell you though that by watching the weather daily, the
temperatures in the whole of the Loire area have consistently been in
the high 30s and low 40s for that length of time at least.

Tours is a synoptic station so you can see the exact daily maximum
temperatures on Keith Harris's site

Choose the date you want from the box top left and scroll down to France.
Tours is station No 7240.

Keith's site has not been updated beyond 4th August as he is on holiday.
For the past week you can look on http://users.pandora.be/ww/syn/syn.htm
For maximum temperature choose files ending ...18.txt - e.g. file
03080918.txt contains figures for Friday 9th August. Scroll down to Tours.
