Unbelievable binoculars for sale in Liddle this week. £15 for an
absolutely fantastic pair of Tronic 8 x 24 x 50.

I have a pair of USSR Zeis (8 x 30's -which are ideal for birding) I
happened upon these just now while shopping and they didn't seem too
plackie so I thought I'd try them. (If kids can pay £15 for a CD that
takes about as much effort to produce as a plastic bottle....)

Anyway when I got them home I found they were the next generation of
goggles every bit as clear as my old pair.

Do yourselves a favour and run right round to your local Liddle
supermarket and snatch a few sets for yourselves and your friends.

Are they really that good? (I was a little suspicious considering the
quality of telescopes they had a little while ago...)
Lidl is 2 mins away from me so I may pay a visit!

Go now before they sell out. They are excellent. Fairly light, 8 x 24
with a 50 MV Zoom and a rubber skin for warm handling in the cold. There
is a pair of rubber eye pieces too, for people who wear glasses.

The case is a work of art and there is a tripod mount. A great
improvement in design & features on my otherwise still excellent old
ones.

Someone on the astronomy group thought that apair of beer glass bottoms
would give them a run for their money.
