Hi, everyone,

So far this November is the driest in my records going back to 1970.
Just over 15mm so far. Previous low was 20.9mm in 1976 which also
followed a wet October.

As recent months have been alternating between very wet and very dry,
should we expect a wet December? Wet Decembers in NE England are usually
the result of winds off the North Sea (;0)

While a few km north of you, I had more than that yesterday (17mm) taking us
to 84 and counting for the month. Still much drier than October though.

31.4 Ken, without including today and it was quite wet this morning.
Didn't you get much on the day of the snow? I would imagine totals far in
excess of your monthly total just for that day!
We managed 8mm that day and the "shadow" effect appeared further East than
you on the radar.

Hi, David,

We didn't get snow, just flakes mixed in the rain. It was all a bit of a
non-event here with only 1.5mm on 18th. The main action was south of us.
General snow level was 1500ft.

Best wishes,
