Thanks. I'm really surprised at the 4 lying. Obviously I may have
missed the odd flurry at 3am, but I definitely can't recall any lying
here that winter, or the following one.

Edmund

!2th to 14th December 1991 - only just a thin covering but with maxima
of -3C by day and minima of -8.5C at night (-11C on the ground), it hung
around with freezing fog

18th February 1992 - after some overnight snow, 2cm snow lying at
0900hr.

Surprised you think you can remember individual days that far back!

I struggle to remember last year:-))

I remember some dense fogs in Dec 91, but not any snow with them. Those
dates you give are Thur-Fri-Sat, if as I suspect it's the week I broke
up for Christmas I'd certainly remember any snow. Do remember it being
very frosty that week. 18/2/92, a Tuesday I make that, would definitely
remember any morning snow as I used to get up at 7am for the bus to
school, and arrive around 8.30, outdoors most of the time. I don't. As
for 92-3, light snow Sat 27/2/93, but didn't lie. Only day lying in
1993 was in November (21st), though it did snow on Christmas Day.
