I don't suppose I'm alone in wishing the BBC would ditch the OB weather
presentations! This morning was a classic. Picture and sound break up as the satellite dish swung in the wind. I read somewhere of one-liners which would finish a TV show, e.g.: Tom and Jerry: "You IS a good cat Tom, now let me put it in the bin". How about a few scenarios which might persuade the Beeb to kill them off? 1. Carol Kirkwood: "So here I am at the end of the pier, and as you can see the force 9 gale is really kicking in noooooooo -aaaaaagh -glug" 2. Helen Willets: "It's looking very thundery today on the Wentworth Golf Course, and even as I speak the clouds have become quite dark and.." (FX fizzzz.) Any further ideas? -- James Brown |
