Default [WR] Hottest day of the year in Motherwell.

Or, hottest day of the millennium if you prefer.
Previous best was 28.9°C on July 14th.
Currently 29.0°C here - warmest since 21st August, 1995 (30.1°C)
Humidity is slightly more comfortable today, at 50%, than it has been
previously this week (~65% at 1pm). Layer of alto/cirro stratus thickening.
And warm southerly F4. Previous days this week had an easterly component
which I think held back the temperatures at this site.
Alex.

year though.
