Symons's Meteorological Magazine ran from 1866 to about 1920 when
publication was taken over by the Meteorological Office. It continued to be produced by them until circa 1994. It was usually (at least until the last few years) crammed full of useful stuff, informative, instructional, etc, etc, so imagine my delight when I heard it was coming back: http://www.metoffice.com/bookshelf/metmag/index.html .... not. Me transmitte sursum, Caledoni! Philip Eden |

So you're a classically educated Trekkie. :-) Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. |

A bit early, at least it should stop the complaints from the moaners on here. -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG |

You'll just have to put up with 'Weather' instead, Philip! Julian Julian Mayes, Molesey, Surrey. (and on the subject of Weather, I am assured that the July issue (a) has the sturdier covers that we requested some months ago, partly in response to the feedback on this NG, and (b) should be coming through our letter boxes tmrw. or Saturday). |
